WHAT WE DO
Since its launching in June 2014, the Resource Center for Employment Promotion R-CEP, works in close cooperation and coordination with the Committee for Employment of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon CEP, in its advocacy to promote the employment rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
R-CEP cooperates with stakeholders: funding partners, International Organisations, Civil Society Organisations and specialists to implement projects and to organise conferences, workshops, to change negative perceptions among decision makers and the public at large towards employment of Palestinian refugees. R-CEP organises focus groups and training sessions (details under R-CEP Activities) to inform Palestinians of their rights and duties in employment matters and social protection in Lebanon.
Those activities have contributed to stimulate and focus the debate about the right of Palestinians to employment and social protection.
R-CEP makes recommendations to remove discriminatory legal and administrative obstructions faced by Palestinian refugees.
